Ok. Not sure what’s going on here, but Mommy and Daddy have decided I don’t need to eat during the night. Something about both me and them getting more sleep. Monday night around 11:30 I started my normal fussing to get them ready for a midnight feeding. Daddy came in, turned me on my side, patted my butt, and I went back to sleep. Around midnight I woke up ready to eat (or so I thought), and turned on the crying to get Mommy/Daddy up. Surprise, surprise!! Daddy comes in, turned me on my side, puts the pacifier in my mouth, and starts the “butt patting” again. Hold on, I’m supposed to be getting some food here!!!! Well, after a few minutes of my chewing on the pacifier and settling back down again, Daddy says “Good night. I love you” and goes back to bed. Needless to say, I wasn’t happy. I cried for a while, but it seems that Mommy and Daddy decided I was “ok” and turned off the monitor. Eventually I went back to sleep. I awoke around 5:30 REALLY hungry and turned on the crying to get Mommy and Daddy up. Daddy came in to feed me and everything was good again. That was Monday night.
Last night was a little easier. Again, I started fussing around 11:30, and Mommy came in, turned me on my side, patted my butt… you know the rest. Hey, I didn’t wake back up until Mommy came in to get me around 6AM. This sleeping thing seems to be working out pretty good. I guess I don’t need to eat in the middle of the night after all.
I’m guessing that maybe I won’t wake up at all tonight, until it’s time for breakfast tomorrow. I’ll have to get back to you on that.
Love,
Grayson
