I fell asleep around 9:15 at the restaurant, and when we got home, Mommy and Daddy managed to get me into bed without waking me up too much. Then they turned on the monitor (to make sure I was sleeping, not laying there crying) and went to bed. They didn’t hear a peep out of me until around 6:15.

I think I’ve got it down. Now I just have to make sure to take good naps when Mommy puts me down during the day!

Last night was a little easier. Again, I started fussing around 11:30, and Mommy came in, turned me on my side, patted my butt… you know the rest. Hey, I didn’t wake back up until Mommy came in to get me around 6AM. This sleeping thing seems to be working out pretty good. I guess I don’t need to eat in the middle of the night after all.

I’m guessing that maybe I won’t wake up at all tonight, until it’s time for breakfast tomorrow. I’ll have to get back to you on that.

They also measured and weighed me.  I’m 14lbs, 9.7 ounces, and 25 inches.  That’s over 2 feet.     When I stand on the floor (with Mommy help), my head comes just right at the cushion of the couch.   Before you know it, I will be getting up and down from the couch, by myself.

Mommy and Daddy bought me a new toy.  It is called a Fisher-Price Precious Planet Jumperoo.    I love it, even though my feet don’t touch the floor, Mommy helps me jump, jump, jump.    We had some giggles today with my jumperoo.  Mommy is so funny, who would have thought.

Can you tell I’m having fun!!

Okay I gotta go and get some shut eye.   Pray that I start sleeping through the night, because I know mommy and daddy would greatly appreciate it.

Mommy and Daddy are still waiting on me to sleep through the night, and I’m working on it best I can. I’ve just got to get used to not eating at night.  I think I get the fondness of eating from Daddy, but don’t tell him I said so.

Grammie and Poppy are here to see me this weekend, so I know I’m in for lots of additional attention and pictures.    . I’m sure Dad will post some new photos after the weekend is over. I know he’s a little behind on getting new pictures up  (something about a lack of sleep  ).   Grammie and Poppy brought me some sort of ‘jungle gym’ and my Great Godmother sent me a mobile for my crib.   Can’t wait until I’m coordinated enough to play with the gym thingy.
